As the seasons change, I’m leaning into the change of pace and creating room for reflection and planning. In this spirit, Treehouse Annex is changing the frequency of the Creative Recharge newsletter from bi-weekly to monthly.
This will allow our team (of two tired parents!) to focus on publishing blog content and continue working on personal projects, including our upcoming zines! (Speaking of new zines, keep scrolling to read the newest perzine from Sula Found.)
Starting October 17th, our newsletter will be sent monthly. Look forward to the next edition, where we’ll share a summer recap, craft ideas, and an anniversary reflection on choosing a new career pivot.
You may hear from us from outside of the monthly newsletter, but we promise not to spam you.
In the meantime, please fill out Treehouse Annex’s interest form if you haven’t already! Responses help inform our posting strategy and energize us to create content that matters to this community.
We can't wait to hear from you!
Sincerely,
Keisa
New Zine Release!
This new essay, Under the BART Tracks, was written during a creative non-fiction workshop in 2022. The earlier iterations of Negotiation focused heavily on my college and postgrad years; however, this story inspired me to return to earlier experiences of navigating intimacy. This essay takes us back to high school with many embarrassing moments and periods of uncertainty…but it’s all part of the story, right?
Under the BART Tracks is about exploring romantic relationships, testing boundaries, and learning to trust oneself.
🔊Happy news: I have an essay in a new anthology, We Grow The World Together: Parenting Toward Abolition (Haymarket Books), to be released on November 19, 2024. Pre-orders are available now! You can read my essay by picking up a copy of the anthology.
